Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using the Daiakner platform.

By creating an account or using the Daiakner platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you are registering on behalf of a family, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of all household members who will use the platform. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Daiakner.
Platform Description & Eligibility
Daiakner is an online marketplace that connects parents and guardians ("Parents") with childcare providers ("Nannies"). We provide tools to search, communicate, book, and pay for childcare services.
Daiakner is not an employer of any nanny listed on the platform. We act solely as an intermediary. The childcare relationship is directly between the Parent and the Nanny. To use Daiakner you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
Bookings & Cancellations
When a Parent confirms a booking with a Nanny, both parties enter into a service agreement governed by these terms.
Cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session: full refund.
- Cancellations made between 24–48 hours before the session: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session: no refund.
Nannies who cancel a confirmed booking without reasonable notice may have their account suspended. Daiakner reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy with 3 days' notice.
Payments & Fees
All payments on Daiakner are processed securely through our payment provider. By submitting payment details, you authorise Daiakner to charge the applicable fees for bookings you confirm.
- Service fees: Daiakner charges a platform fee on each completed booking. The fee percentage is displayed at checkout before you confirm.
- Payouts: Nannies receive payment for completed sessions within 3–5 business days after session completion.
- Disputes: In the event of a payment dispute, contact us at daiakner.support@gmail.com within 7 days of the session date.
All prices are displayed in AMD (Armenian Dram) unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Safety & Verification
The safety of children using our platform is our highest priority. While Daiakner takes steps to verify the identity of nannies and encourage background checks, we cannot guarantee the conduct of any individual listed on the platform.
Parents are responsible for:
- Conducting their own interviews and reference checks before confirming a booking.
- Supervising the initial session to ensure comfort and safety.
- Reporting any concerning behaviour to Daiakner immediately.
Daiakner reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any user found to be a risk to children or other users, at our sole discretion.
Prohibited Conduct
When using Daiakner, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in your profile or communications.
- Use the platform to arrange services or payments outside of Daiakner in order to avoid platform fees.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other user.
- Post or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
- Use Daiakner for any purpose other than connecting parents with childcare providers.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.
Limitation of Liability
Daiakner provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties about the suitability, reliability, or availability of any nanny listed. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Daiakner is not liable for any harm, injury, loss, or damage arising from interactions between parents and nannies arranged through the platform.
- Daiakner's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to Daiakner in the 3 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes & Termination
Daiakner reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may close your account through the account settings page. Daiakner may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
