Professional Ethics for Personal and Child Drivers
7 July 20265 min read
A driver becomes quite familiar with a family's daily life—school, doctors, work, and visits. Professional ethics require that this familiarity never turn into gossip or unauthorized decisions.
Key Rules
- Arrive before the agreed time and inform the family if you are going to be late.
- Do not discuss the family's conversations with other passengers or people in your social circle.
- Do not change the route or stop without the parent's approval, especially when a child is in the car.
- Do not hold or use your phone while driving. Make necessary calls only when the vehicle is safely parked.
When Interacting with the Child
Greet the child by name, check their seat belt, and do not make arrangements with the child about stops or other actions without the parent's knowledge. If the child feels unwell or you notice anything unusual, call the parent immediately rather than waiting until the end of the day. A calm tone and predictable rules give children a sense of safety.
